designed for ages 4+, enjoy an extra-special classical ballet workshop for your ballerina-in-training this month!
Saturday, October 17th | 10:30-11:20am
Monday, October 26th | 5:20-6:10pm
Learn about PRINCESS characters featured throughout the classic story ballets with this fun, enriching, costume-friendly activity!
Created as an opportunity for students to practice ballet technique, create their own choreography, experience classical music from the ballet versions of Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, & Cinderella, and enjoy ballet-princess themed coloring pages, all while wearing their favorite princess costume and playing with a range of colorful props for dancing.
Students are encouraged to wear ballet slippers AND their favorite princess costume from home! Be ready to try on a variety of REAL ballet tutus from Ms. Katie’s collection for some extra costume fun to enjoy during the workshop time.
Hair is encouraged to be secured back in a ponytail, headband, or ballet bun for the duration of this activity since we will be actively dancing/moving, to help keep everyone free of tripping and falling as much as possible.
This activity is a drop-off experience, so feel free to get your kiddo settled at the studio and stay close by in the attached waiting room space, or leave the studio all together to tackle an errand!
LIMITED space is available for this special activity - early registration is encouraged to secure a spot!
please note: this workshop requires a minimum of 4 students participating in order to officially run. Early registration helps us to know if this fun experience can stay on our calendar or not!
